Exclusivo: Filtración de primeros benchmarks del Ryzen 7 5800X3D
El procesador AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D ya está disponible a la venta en Perú y como no es de sorprender, ya lo tenemos en manos. Al no estar atados a ningún NDA (estamos baneados por AMD Perú) no estamos rompiendo ninguna regla. Ojo, este no es ningún procesador de ingeniería, es un producto final (retail).
Para agilizar las cosas, pondremos los primeros resultados rápidos que hemos obtenido del nuevo procesador de AMD, que, según la marca, será su procesador de excelencia para gaming y estaría compitiendo con el tope de gama de Intel (ojo, en gaming) a un menor costo.
Recuerden que estos procesadores que tienen la tecnología AMD 3D V-CACHE™, pero serán los últimos en salir para la plataforma AM4, ya que la próxima generación, usará la nueva plataforma AM5 (Zen 4) con soporte para memorias DDR5 y más.
Antes de saltar a los benchmarks, es necesario poner las especificaciones, las cuales variarán un poco cuando la comparemos directamente con el Core i9-12900KF en unos días, pero les puede dar indicio del performance.
Por suerte, tuvimos acceso a BIOS beta y acceso al chipset que incluye un nuevo driver para optimizar (según descripción de AMD) la tecnología 3D V-CACHE™.

Cinebench R23 – AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
Cinebench R23 ha sido el caballo de troya de AMD al momento de comparar sus procesadores, especialmente con Intel durante el paso de los años. Sin duda alguna, al ser una prueba bastante rápida, tenemos los resultados mono núcleo y multi núcleo.
Geekbench 5 – AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
Otro benchmark popular, que fue filtrado hace unos días con el procesador AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D fue Geekbench 5. No estamos seguros si cuando dicha prueba, estaban usando el chipset driver de AMD que viene con el supuesto archivo optimizador de su nueva tecnología, AMD 3D V-CACHE™.
El chipset driver que tenemos instalado contiene dicho controlador y el BIOS de la placa madre es el más reciente que he podido obtener.
Comparando con el resultado oficial de la base de datos de Geekbench 5, el rendimiento mono núcleo es levemente menor al Ryzen 7 5800X en esta prueba y ligeramente mayor en multi núcleo.
Tal vez ciertos tipos de carga se benefician con el caché aumentado, pese que trabaja a una menor frecuencia (explicando el resultado multi núcleo).
CPU-Z
El rendimiento del Ryzen 7 5800X3D es menor al Ryzen 7 5800X, algo que ya parece ser una tendencia en estas tres primeras pruebas. Hay algunas excepciones, pero el consenso inicial es el mismo.
Incluso un Intel Core i5-12400/F tiene mayor performance mono núcleo que el nuevo procesador de AMD en esta prueba.
En la captura de esta verana herramienta para comparar procesadores, se puede poner como referencia al Intel Core i9-12900K.
La diferencia en mono núcleo es SUBSTANCIAL, como también en multi núcleo (aunque recuerden que un 12900K tiene un mayor costo).

Si nos guíamos de la data que hay en la base de datos de Open Data de Blender, la mejora del 5800X3D en este benchmark frente al 5800X es de un 3.6% a comparación de nuestros resultados.
¿La última esperanza, en Gaming?
Mañana comenzaremos pruebas gaming donde sería el último bastión del Ryzen 7 5800X3D si estos resultados son fidedignos al performance final. AMD se dio cuenta que tener más CACHÉ L3 beneficia el performance en gaming, así que presumimos que veremos resultados positivos en este aspecto.
Igual se siente “extraño” perder rendimiento mono núcleo y multi núcleo y varios aplicativos de productividad debido a la menor frecuencia, pero esperamos que el menor performance tal vez sea por un BIOS no finalizado (aunque tengo mis dudas).

Precio y disponibilidad en Perú
Por el momento, he visto algunas tiendas con inventario físico y el precio aproximado en el país del nuevo procesador está alrededor de los 550 US$ (2062.50 nuevos soles).
