Rumor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1630 would launch on June 28

According to Read, a Chinese technology portal, the launch of the GeForce GTX 1630 would be on June 28. This is not the first date that has been speculated for the launch of the new NVIDIA video card. Originally, it was "planned" to be released at the end of May.

With the launch of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1630, it would be the replacement for the already veteran GeForce GT 1030, albeit with a small difference.

The acronym GT, for NVIDIA, is not focused on gaming (I don't want to say that the GT 1030 can't be used to play games) and with the launch of the GeForce GTX 1630, this criterion would change. The GeForce GTX is focused on gaming according to the company (rasterization).

This information has been extracted from a Chinese forum (that's why it remains a rumor) where COLORFUL, a Chinese AIB, wrote that the launch and sale of the product should be on June 28.

Remember that nothing is set in stone and NVIDIA could postpone the release date.

The new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1630 video card should feature the TU117-150 (Turing) GPU with 512 CUDA cores, with lower bandwidth, but the same TDP as the 1650 (75W).

This video card is expected to be around US$150.
