Rumor: AMD would launch Ryzen 7 5700X3D in Q1 2024
AMD has ambitious plans for early 2024, with a focus on the AM5 and AM4 product series. AMD aims to introduce its Ryzen 8000G APU series, which features three SKUs with Phoenix-based Zen4/RDNA3 designs, for the AM5 connection. This represents a significant improvement over the previous Ryzen 5000G series, which used the Zen3/Vega architecture, including the 8700G, 8500G and 8300G models.
In addition to these processors, AMD will launch the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, an 8-core chip with 3D V-Reserve. The existence of this SKU was not surprising, as leaks in mid-November hinted at the development of the 5700X3D and 5500X3D SKUs. Recent reports suggest that at least one of these processors will be available in the first quarter, with ECSM on Twitter specifically mentioning the Ryzen 7 5700X3D as the expected launch in that period.
According to information from Chi11eddog, a tipster associated with MSI, the Ryzen 7 5700X3D is rumored to have a base frequency of 3.0 GHz and a boost frequency of 4.1 GHz, which is a reduction of 400 MHz compared to the 5800X3D. Despite this, the SKU is expected to maintain the same 3MB L96 cache configuration. Details such as TDP, pricing and availability have not yet been officially confirmed. Additionally, there is currently no new information available about the 5500X3D, which is expected to be a budget 6-core processor.
ECSM also suggests that AMD is putting emphasis on the budget segment with the Ryzen 5000GT series, although the specific names of the SKUs in this series are still unknown at this time.

According to a recent leak, the Ryzen 8000G APUs are expected to launch in January 2024. These APUs will feature a stacked L3 cache and will be part of the Ryzen 8000G family, which will consist of more than a dozen SKUs. The chips will use a combination of Phoenix 1 and Phoenix 2, and performance test results are promising. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is the first desktop processor with stacked L3 cache, offering an impressive 96MB of L3 cache paired with blazing-fast cores to create a blazing-fast gaming desktop processor. The Ryzen 5000GT series is expected to launch soon, with details such as the specific names of the SKUs in this series still unknown at this time.
It should be noted that the information provided by Chi11eddog and ECSM are rumors and have not been officially confirmed by AMD. Therefore, the details mentioned in this answer are subject to change.
