Problems with Intel processors initiate a class action lawsuit investigation

It should come as no surprise that the problems Intel is facing with its 13th and 14th generation processors have prompted the beginning of a class action lawsuit investigation. Abington Cole + Ellery, a North American firm based in Oklahoma, has been the first to take the first step for a class action lawsuit against Intel.

The first step in this type of case is to collect signatures (via the Internet) from users who believe they are affected by the problem until a certain number is reached and raise the case to the first instance. If it is accepted, investigations proceed to finally determine if the defendant company is guilty and must pay a certain amount to the affected users (the plaintiffs).

Intel Class Action

Intel has accepted the instability problem with its processors and has taken months to provide a response. The company promises possible mitigations in mid-August, but the damage has already been done. The lack of speed in responding to end users is taking its toll on the company.

It should be noted that a certain number of plaintiffs must be reached, which can vary from a dozen users to thousands, depending on the nature and jurisdiction of the case.
