NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 and Radeon RX 6000 prices continue to drop little by little in Europe
The drop in prices of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 and AMD Radeon RX 6000 video cards and the "local war" of stores, has a more logical explanation for some: the drop in prices worldwide. One is not going to sell one or several video cards at "cost", nor at a loss and the 3DCenter portal has information on video card sales in your region.
The price of video cards has been on the decline and the latest report shows a slight drop compared to the previous one, but it still does not reach the MSRP price.
Moreover, in certain cases, such as the GeForce RTX 3050, the price has risen by 7%. In the rest of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 family, the percentage reduction is from 1 to 8%.
Meanwhile, as for the AMD Radeon card, the RX 6600 has seen a rise of 2%, but the vast majority of AMD graphics cards have dropped from 1 to 7% less.
Prices are still far from the MSRP in the Europe region and the data covered by 3DCenter reflects prices from German to Austrian stores. It should also be noted that, at the moment, Germany and other regions suffer from high inflation due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The only ones who know the actual inventory worldwide are the NVIDIA/AMD AIBs, like the two previously mentioned companies. Depending on the supply and demand (apparently the demand for the RTX 3050 is quite high) we will see if the prices will continue to drop or there will be factors that help the supply decrease or it becomes difficult.
