Ryzen 9000 launch delayed

On the one hand, we have the saga of Intel failures in its 13th and 14th generation processors and, on the other, the delay in the launch of the AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors. Several reviewers complained about not having received their samples and now we know why.

The launch, originally planned for July 31, has been postponed to August. This will be the new release (sale) date for AMD Ryzen 9000 processors:

  • AMD Ryzen 5 9600X and AMD Ryzen 7 9700X: August 8
  • AMD Ryzen 9 9900X and AMD Ryzen 9 9950X: August 15

Reviews will be posted one day before they are available for sale.

Rumor: According to a source, the reason for the delay would be due to SoC problems

Although there has been no official statement from AMD about the delay, the technology portal Unikoshardware published a tweet (which was later deleted) in which it stated that the reason for the delay is due to some CPUs having problems with the SoC .

Traducción:

1. Start sending samples to some reviewers
2. Some reviewers report much worse performance.
3. Investigate the problem and find out what happened.
4. soc packaging has problems
5. remove all shipped CPUs

This is what total quality expectations means.
