Leak: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT could perform almost like an RX 7900 XTX
Today the performance of the AMD Radeon RX 9070XT, with a recent test suggesting a performance very close to that of the RX7900XTX. As we mentioned yesterday, several units of the Radeon RX 9070 XT and 9070 are already in Peru, probably having been ordered after the CES 2025.
According to Videocardz, the benchmark used was Furmark, which now includes a specific test to measure the performance of video cards under two APIs:
- OpenCL
- Vulkan
The test was discovered and published by Tomasz Gawronski, who mentions that Someone must have modified the drivers to make the card identify itself as a RX 7800 XT, Although Hardware ID clearly indicates that this is a RX 9070 XT.
I think i found, a rdna4 radeon 9070 non xt + 9950x3d with hacked drivers. Device ID matches the recently leaked geekbench. there are multiple benches with 9950x3d on furmark.

Scores impressive 41-48% higher than 7800 xt

Benchmark results
The best score obtained in the test was 7979 points, placing it almost at the level of the RX 7900 XTX and surpassing models such as the RX 7900 XT and the GRE version.
Despite this result, it is important to remember that Synthetic benchmarks do not necessarily reflect real-world gaming performance, so we will have to wait for more detailed tests when the cards are officially announced. With the Radeon 9000 Series Launched approaching, this data only increases the expectation about what AMD will offer in this new generation.
