Elgato unveils “Stream Deck Everywhere” strategy at Computex

MUNICH, May 20, 2025 — Elgato, a leading provider of content creation tools and a subsidiary of Corsair® (NASDAQ: CRSR), is expanding the Stream Deck ecosystem in exciting new directions. At this year’s Computex, the company will showcase four groundbreaking innovations under its new “Stream Deck Everywhere” strategy, aimed at bringing powerful, customizable control to more users and workflows than ever before.

“Stream Deck has become a must-have tool for creators, but until now, many people outside the creative space haven't had access to its potential,” said Julian Fest, General Manager of Elgato. “With these launches, we're opening Stream Deck to a world of new users, from developers and DIY builders to manufacturers looking for a proven interface for their products. Because Stream Deck isn't just a device: it's a platform.”

Stream Deck Modules: Ready for integration and DIY projects

First of all, it is presented Stream Deck Module, a basic version of the renowned consumer product that allows hobbyists, entrepreneurs, and makers to incorporate this iconic technology into their own projects without having to invest months or even years developing a control interface from scratch. Available in 6-, 15-, and 32-key versions, the module comes housed in a durable aluminum chassis, ready to be integrated directly into a custom setup, machine, or product.

Like its retail counterparts, the Stream Deck Module is compatible with Stream Deck software and third-party apps, while comprehensive documentation removes the guesswork so creators and makers can bring their big ideas to life—faster, smarter, and without limits.

Network Dock for Stream Deck: untethered control

The new Network Dock Elgato’s Ethernet dock enables wired Ethernet connectivity for Stream Deck devices, giving users the ability to extend their control surface beyond the desktop into custom installations, remote stations, and more. Whether mounted on a desk or docked on the Stream Deck XL stand, the dock supports both PoE and non-PoE networks, and IP configuration is easily done from the device itself. It’s another major step toward unlocking the true potential of the Stream Deck—wherever it’s needed.

Virtual Stream Deck: control at the touch of a mouse

Perhaps the most transformative innovation of all, Virtual Stream Deck (VSD) is a software-only version that offers powerful, customizable control on any screen. Users can create fully interactive control panels anywhere on their desktop—pinned for quick access or invoked via click or keyboard shortcut. It makes Stream Deck more accessible than ever, putting Elgato’s iconic platform in every corner of a user’s workspace. Initially, it will launch exclusively for owners of Stream Deck hardware and select Corsair peripherals, including the Xeneon Edge and Scimitar Elite WE SE mouse. It will soon be available for more devices, enabling intelligent control across touchscreens, mice, keyboards, and more.

Scissor Keys: A New Touch Experience

To round off the launches, a variant with scissor switches is presented. stream deck, a faster, more precise alternative to the classic membrane design. With shorter travel and crisper actuation, these new switches offer greater speed and precision for high-frequency tasks and fast hands. The more compact and responsive feel is also ideal for typing-type interactions, opening the door to new uses that benefit from fast, multi-level input.

Stream Deck Ecosystem: From Hardware to Everywhere

Stream Deck has evolved from a tool for creators to a powerful platform—one that adapts to any workflow, scales with ambition, and inspires innovation across all industries. This new wave of releases marks a shift: control is no longer confined to a device or desktop. Elgato is expanding what Stream Deck can be and where it can go. With modular hardware, open documentation, and deeply integrated software, creators, businesses, and makers now have the freedom to build smarter workflows, reimagine what control looks like, and decide where it belongs.
