AMD unveils new Radeon graphics cards and Ryzen Threadripper processors at COMPUTEX 2025

– Radeon RX 9060 XT delivers next-generation gaming experiences and FSR 4 ML-powered upscaling to mainstream users –

Taipei, May 21, 2025.– At COMPUTEX 2025, AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) unveiled its latest advancements in high-performance computing with the launch of the Radeon™ RX 9060 XT and Radeon™ AI PRO R9700 graphics cards, and Ryzen™ Threadripper™ 9000 Series processors. Designed to tackle the most demanding workloads in gaming, content creation, professional industries and AI development, these new processors push the boundaries of what’s possible.

The new Radeon RX 9060 XT GPUs are powered by the advanced AMD RDNA™ 4 architecture and deliver fluid, responsive gaming at 1440p with upscaling enhanced by FSR 4 ML and accelerated ray tracing. For those building worlds, telling stories through pixels, or chasing victory in esports, these cards deliver the performance and intelligence to elevate every experience. 

AMD also announced the Radeon™ AI PRO R9700, a new GPU built on AMD RDNA™ 4 architecture with 32nd Gen AI accelerators. With 5GB of graphics memory and support for PCIe® Gen XNUMX, it’s designed for local AI inference, model tuning, and complex creative workloads, with scalability for multi-GPU systems. 

AMD also introduced the Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000 WX Series and Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Series processors, bringing record-breaking core counts, massive memory bandwidth, and next-generation platform capabilities to professional workstations and enthusiast desktops. Whether rendering cinematic visual effects (VFX), simulating real-world physics, or locally tuning AI models with billions of parameters, these processors are built to eliminate bottlenecks and accelerate innovation. 

AMD Powers Next-Gen Gaming with AI

Engineered to deliver ultra-smooth 1440p gaming, the Radeon RX 9060 XT is built for gamers who expect more. Equipped with up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory and 32 AMD RDNA 4 Compute Units, this GPU delivers double the performance of ray tracing compared to the previous generation, giving gamers more realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections that bring virtual worlds to life.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000 Series WX processors are expected to be available from major players including Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Supermicro, as well as system integrators beginning later this year. High-end desktop platforms featuring AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Series processors, as well as DIY Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Series processors and select Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000 Series WX processors, will be available in stores beginning July 2025.
